Dictum Legalis: Hotlinking Policy

Bandwidth is theft, keep leaches off the internet!

That's been the battlecry for some over the years, we haven't exactly joined them, but we have taken measures to ensure that certain file types cannot be hotlinked directly from our server. This has been done for three major reasons:

• To ensure that our bandwidth remains at acceptable levels;
• To ensure proper copyright and attribution can be afforded to images on this site;
• Security.

Anyone hotlinking to thedarkfortress will receive a broken image symbol.

Certain websites have permisions to hotlink to content on thedarkfortress. Hotlinked images will show normally for them.
