Dark Angels Land Raider II by Rene
Another excellent feat of freehand painting is demonstrated on this model by Rene. It has a darker grittier look that I like with a very subdued colour palette. The jewelled cupola optics really are the brightest thing on this Raider.
Also note the wear and weathering applied to the front door, glacis plate and the front edge of the trackguards. This is all extremely well done and subtly handled – the overall effect does convey the illusion of the vehicle being constructed from something far heavier than plastic.
