A Deathwing Strikeforce by Schadle
Here we have a Deathwing Assault Squad painted by 25-time Golden Demon and Slayer Sword winner Thomas Schadle, led by the (then) Master of the Deathwing Gabriel. Also included in this gallery is a Mortis Dreadnought.
Well they are beautifully modelled and painted as one would expect. Blends are smooth and immaculate and the colours clean and crisp. Probably as perfect a presentation of the Deathwing as you are likely to get.
But then they are more than that on their lava/volcanic bases and carrying their standards, check Gabriel's helmet and weapon bearers, and the way the standard bearer's thunder hammer is stowed on the bearers back – this is the kind of detail then lifts them to the aspirational.
