Deathwing Squad Banners 'Legion' Pattern
Shown below are a selection of squad banners used by the Deathwing prior to the adoption of bone-coloured armour.
The design is known as the 'Legion' pattern — so called due to their close resemblance to the banners presented to the Chapter at the First Founding. Used for many millennia they were first superseded by new banners during the Armageddon Wars, and then again by the current 'Gabriel' pattern.
Carried by the most trusted Deathwing sergeants on a retractable banner pole, they served as both rallying and focal points for squad battle brothers when in the heat of battle and as revered icons during Chapter ceremonies.

All banners have been produced in Adobe Illustrator as vector illustrations, using cmyk colours and saved as a pdf. Banners can be printed just as they are, or opened in Photoshop where you can customise them by adding folds or distressing them etc.
These banners are intended to be printed by a colour laser printer or high quality inkjet printer. The Dark Fortress can take no responsibility for any loss or damage or waiving of manufacturers warranties caused by the use of this artwork.
