A Dark Angels strikeforce by Barakiel
A brown-robed take on the Dark Angels
Strange how one colour can change the character of an army. Barakiel has put together a Dark Angels army that somehow looks really sinister. I like the use of the dark brown robes, and the mass of seals of honour. Have a close look at some of the conversions which are all very well considered and simply but effectively executed — my own favourite being the jump pack Chaplain. The all-black basing is a great touch that finishes them all off with great aplomb.
Although it is a shame that the photography doesn't really do justice to these models (and I have spent a few hours with them in Photoshop) the gritty images just adds to the sense of menace.
